A bit of a brag

I went to the grocery store this afternoon and I did awesomely! Kroger was having their Megasale and I had coupons for everything, even meat! I paid just $53 for over $120 worth of food. That is the best I have done in quite awhile.

That is really good! Our Kroger didn't run a Megasale this week they must do it by regions or something. My wife is not too happy with Kroger right now since they discontinued double coupons.

Some places are keeping double coupons but are getting very picky about which products they will match a competitor coupon over. I know even if it is a food item, our store will not accept coupons from say the Dollar Store because that is not a "food outlet".
