Alone time or me time.

With three kids, work and household to-do lists, sometimes I just feel like I'm getting pulled in every direction. My wife and I have started scheduling a few hours during the week where we each get to escape and do whatever we want.

Do you ever take some time for yourself? What do you do?

Well, we don't have individual me time, but we have a scheduled date night. My siter watches the kids every Thursday night and my wife and I go and do something, just us two. It's nice just to be able to talk.

We do not have individual time either. We do get the kids in bed every night by 8:30 and spend a couple hours together before bed.

Yep, its called work time. Seriously though I think it's a great thing to do, getting time to do something you enjoy. Just because you are a dad doesn't mean you should have to give up everything you like to do.
