Our daughter celebrated her 21st yesterday. She invited a handful of friends to celebrate it with a small party. She did not opt for an elaborate dinner party. With money so tight these days, we are thankful for that.
We celebrate birthdays with my mom and siblings with their families. Each family picks up their own tab, but it is still a nice time and the birthday person chooses the place.
