I have 2 teenage step daughters that I want to be closer to like I am with their 10 year old sister. I failed with my own daughters and now I see my step daughters need a father to guide them. I'm not really sure where to start.
Well, I think you've learned from the past and staying close to them won't be as hard as you think. Just be there for them, show you support them and they will go to you for help and advice when they need it
They are probably at an age where they are curious or want help with all kinds of "adult things" like guys and cars and money. Become someone they like to talk to, and they will talk to you about the important stuff eventually.
