Cat obsessed with the tree

We have put up a fake tree and lights. The lights had to be put up high enough that the cats could not get to them. One of the cats is just obsessed with standing near the tree and looking at it. She rubs her face against it and even sleeps next to it. It's so bizarre!

Cats (and other pets) do funny things. My friend's cat is obsessed with computer keyboard buttons. My friend took the buttons off the keyboard and used them as part of his photography concept. The cat thought the buttons are for her to play with.
