Dads in School

This has been quite uncomfortable. At Ab's school there aren't many fathers who attend events. A handful out of most of the school are at plays.

I've been getting looks, and comments. I'm self employed so work is flexible, so I go to everything. There are just a couple of single dads.

How do you deal with it? It's like it's assumed that I'm a pervert.

ETA; I always attend with her mother, never alone.

That just seems odd. At my kids school we have alot of father participation. But, for people to treat you strangely because you actually show up for your kids? That's a shame.
