Dental Check ups

It seems to me that it is harder to bring the children in for dental check ups than for medical check ups. I wonder what it is with dentists that frightens even some adults.

Dental pain can be the worst kind of pain. I do not like going to the dentist but my kids have been fantastic about it so far. Also there might be a link between the tooth fairy and the dentist. Maybe the dentist is the equivalent of the Grinch who stole Christmas.
