Just another day

How important is your birthday to you? I know it is not popular but I think my birthday is just another day. I am not usually interested in celebrating my birthday. I have no issue celebrating the kids and the wife's though.

I look forward to mine now I have kids. They enjoy making me cards and buying some random dollar store gift they saved for. It's a lot of fun.

I don't usually take an initiative to celebrate my own birthday. Not interested in being the center of attention (like I implied in another thread here), I wouldn't mind if nobody noticed my birthday.

It really is no big deal to me. It's a milestone to mark time by, so it's significant in that way, but I don't need a lot of fanfare.
