Learning different languages

My father in law told me the secret of fast teaching different languages (say Spanish, French and Italian) to your kids. So, the secret is doing it simultaneously, not sequentially. :)

Yep, that's exactly what I was taught in my human development courses in college. Teaching the languages together, as young as possible, is great. Many people think it will be confusing but children are amazing at picking up languages.

I believe that to be true as well. When my son was about two years old, he would could say things to his mother in Korean and say the exact same thing to me in English without blinking. It's amazing how children at that age can process languages so easily. I remember learning that once a child starts hitting ten years old, their ability to pick up new languages diminishes dramatically.
