Living near parents

We always chose our jobs and careers because we didn't want to move far away from our parents. We've been lucky, but I'm seeing most of the children in our town moving away once they leave college. I am a bit selfish, but I don't want my children to move across the country. I want to play with my grandchildren, and do it often.

Well I don't see anything wrong with that. As long as no one else minds or feels uncomfortable about it, then I think it's great. Families should stay close together in my opinion.

John, man, I think we just hit the right subject. I think that society is better off with family living close together than being apart.

Almost everyone in our family lives within half an hour of each other, so we have managed to stay pretty close through the years. Hopefully our son will want to stay close to us as well when he grows up and moves out on his own.
