In the history of Indian railways there is only one woman coolie a 40 year old Shashi Bomkar.who is manning the Goa's Karmali railway station where only 4 trains stops in whole dayworking from 7 am to 11pm. Her husband who was also porter at the same railway station expired before 9 years and railways offered her the vacancy of her husband since there were no takers. Her days of trouble seems to be over now since the Bollywood are making a movie on her life and offered her a generous reward for telling her whole story.
