Medical eBooks

Have you ever spent $10 - $40 on one of those medical ebooks which is supposed to tell you about your condition. Are those things for real, or are they scams?

I think it depends on the eBook. I have gotten some that were not very good, but those were all under $10. I think the more expensive ones tend to offer more information and better treatments.
