Opinions on Prenatal Screening?

For those that are expecting, what are your thoughts on prenatal screenings?

I don't have any problems with pre-natal screenings but regardless of the result of any tests we take we plan to continue the pregnancy to full-term.

i thought it was only for when your child has problems. We have not had one. I'm just learning though.

We do not intend on doing the evasive test. But the ultrasound test and blood tests we are going to have done. We just want to know ahead of time of a medical condition. My wife's sister and 2 aunts have down syndrome so we just want to know. It won't make us love our baby any less either way, we love our family.
