Paid vacation

I did not take all of my paid vacation time yet and the company needs me to take it before the end of November. What is a good thing to do with the family on a paid vacation this time of year.

I think it depends on if your kids are in school or not, and whether or not you'd be comfortable taking them out of school to go somewhere. Since it is a slow time for travel(except the week of Thanksgiving), you might be able to get some really good deals.

I usually just take a week off and spend it with my family. When the kids are at school I get little projects done that I have been meaning to, just not had time. My wife and I also do a 'fall cleaning'.
