Paying a vehicle off

For the firs time ever I bought my wife a brand new car. This was a few years ago but I have been paying the monthly payments for the loan for long enough to hate it. I will never take out a loan to buy a car again, those things are trouble. Luckily, I will have it all paid off within the next couple of months.

I lived for several years without a car loan and it was wonderful, but I just had to finally cave and take one out in May. Ugh. It's only a three year loan, but I'm going to be aggravated on the first of every month until it's over.

I never buy new cars. Since a car loses 30% of it's value just driving it off the lot, I let someone else take the hit and I buy vehicles that are 1-2 years old. You can get a good deal, and many are still covered under the original warranty. I always check that the warranty is transferable before I purchase. That helps cut the finance amount, and with some money for a trade my loans are small and easily paid off.
