Preparing A Dinner

How often do you guys prepare a dinner? I would like to surprise my wife with a dinner and I hope my plans will work well. I have my list of food to prepare but any other ideas will be good.

Just to cook for the other person, planned or as a surprise? We tend to do a little of both depending on our work schedules. Lately we have been a little on the lazy side and eating out but we are doing large family dinners while we have visitors in town this week too.

We tend to eat out quite often more than we have home cooked meals. That or we have something quick and frozen that we warm up. I'd say probably twice a week we have a nice cooked meal at home.

I cook a lot and so does my wife, it's a joint duty. We both love to cook and we love to cook with each other. I have surprised her many times.

Just stick to things you know and you should be good.
