Sequels

Some how I was reminded of the mini series Scarlett, which is a sequel of the epic movie Gone With The Wind. I wouldn't say that it's a bad show, but why should they have made the sequel?

When a movie becomes successful then the producers will think of a sequel. Whenever I think of sequels, it reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers, and Harry Potter. These movies are so successful that making a sequel will surely generate more income.

As for Scarlett, I haven't watched that series, I've watched Gone with the Wind though.

Yeah, I agree with you. It is obvious that they don't do it for artistic reasons. I think it is all about profit and money. That's why they also made Saw 7.
