Smoking

My kids love it when I smoke ribs, brisket, sausage and pork butt. I have a couple of smokers but my favorite is the Weber.

I have never attempted this so any tips you have please feel free to share them. I can cook and I can follow instructions but I have never smoked in my life.

I have some barbecue books from a guy named Steve Raichlen. He wrote Barbecue Bible and another book on ribs. Both books are really easy to use and follow.

I love the Barbecue Bible. Some great recipes in there. I love to use the smoker. My only problem is I try to smoke too much stuff at once. As my daughter is only two, I do not think she really knows the difference. My friends love the stuff, especially when I smoke turkey legs and beef jerky.
