I watched this movie last night. I have to say that I am glad I watched the whole movie - it ended well. I was getting pretty mad in the beginning though. My wife read the book and was like - calm down it gets better. I swore if they said the N word one more time I was going to put my foot through the TV.

I never watched the movie or read the book, what is it about? I am not fond of that word either, same goes for many of the words out there people tend to fling around in general conversation.

I watched the movie and thought it was good. I'm glad it ended the way it did too, I was a bit worried for the women. The book/movie is about Jackson, Mississippi and the African American women who work for White families. The whole thing really was about a White woman writing a book from the stories these African American women told her.
