Having step kids is so hard! I can not believe how messy it is. I can't complain, but having kids around really does change things when it comes to cleanliness and organization.
Undoubtedly so! If they are older at least you can teach them to help out. I don't have step kids, but I do have a nearly 6 month old and a two year old. The house usually looks like a train wreck.
My daughter is already nicknamed The Master of Disaster, so I'm pretty used to the house being a mess. I'm sure it will get worse when my step son moves in, but we're just going to have to enforce everyone cleaning up after themselves.
