I have to admit that I am too proud about myself to say sorry to my child if I made a mistake. My wife told me about this yesterday and I pondered into it. I'm glad that my wife reminds me that I need to admit my mistakes for my kids to do the same.
Me too, and it's really sad. I am aware that my daughter needs it and she would be happy if her father admitted the mistakes he made, but it's just not me. Well, there are still many things to learn to be a good dad.
I broke myself of this habit long ago. I also will tell my wife when she is right which is harder to do than it sounds. I don't want to spend my remaining years being a horrible dad to my little one like I was to the older ones.
