Who does the gift shopping?

With Christmas coming, I'm curious who does the shopping in your house for holidays and special occasions? I think I'm going to have to have a talk with my wife about this. She used to include me in all aspects of choosing presents for our daughter, but in the past year or so she's only asked my opinion about the big stuff. I don't necessarily disagree with her choice of gifts, I just want to have more input.

Mostly my wife but I do buy gifts for the kids and for her. A lot of times we shop together too. My wife just seems to find the better deals and she doesn't mind spending hours in line.

Christmas morning is as much a surprise to me as it is to the kids. I do pick out a few things but for the most part my wife shops for and wraps all of the gifts. She shops year round when she sees good deals so we don't really consult about the gifts. It works for us.
