My wife wants us to adopt a baby, we already have three of our own. In all honesty I can't say that I'm too fond about the idea. Have you adopted a child? If you could would you? How did it turn out?
If I was single for example and got married with somebody who already had kids I wouldn't mind, but adopting kids is a whole different tune altogether, I don't think I would go for it either.
I am sure that I could but right now in my life it would not be the best time. I would ask your wife a tad more deeper what she is thinking, in a nice way of course. The economy is insane right now and you already have 5 mouths to feed.
My wife and I were actually talking about adopting too. It's not going to happen now because my (very troubled) step son is moving in with us and that's going to be enough to handle for a while.
