I can understand why you say that, but forcing him into situations he is uncomfortable with is not the answer, believe me. Is he an only child? If he is then you need to provide opportunities for him to meet new people/kids in a safe way.
Sounds like one to try, though I'm curious if the Nutella melts easily. Does the milk have to be scalding hot for that to happen? If so I may have to cool it for an iced drink.
I'm looking forward to taking my wife out for dinner this weekend. It will be out first date night since the new baby came - which makes it extra special.
It strikes me as odd that someone would forget their kid's birthday. My dad could never quite get our ages right when we were growing up, but he never forgot the actual day.
After much thought I have decided that my kids should stick with real books for as long as possible. I know that technology is part of their lives, but they need a balance.
It never entered my head that someone would give a child an e-reader, but the other day a friend mentioned the idea. How old do you think they should be to start using one of these?

I have had an offer which means doing some of my work at home rather than in the office. It could be a great chance to change my lifestyle, but I'm a bit wary I'll end up getting nothing done with so many distractions!
That sounds both ambitious and intriguing Paul! We're taking advantage of an invite to a family get together. No preparation and no cooking on our part is a great thing right now.
That defeats the object of a required signature! Have you complained to the post people? Your delivery person sounds elusive but if you catch him/her you could try asking for an explanation.
The first time round we agonised for weeks, maybe months over a name! My wife bought a book, everyone chipped in suggestions and ideas and the whole thing was quite a time consumer. When you get to #4 there's no time for that and we take turns now!
How much effect does sleep deprivation have on your body? I am beginning to make silly mistakes and find it increasingly hard to concentrate, and it's only been a couple of weeks of broken nights!
It's a good idea to have a little burial ceremony for smaller pets. With a dog maybe you could have a memorial service? Whatever you do it will be tough, but letting the kids grieve will help them a lot.
