    Weird dreams!

Do you have crazy dreams ever? Do you even remember your dreams? I don't usually, but these past few nights I've been waking really early after dreaming that I'm in a crowd of people and I've lost my wallet. It's a different scenario every time, but I'm always searching, and I know that I've...

    Wanting more kids!

I've been visiting with my cousin, his wife and their 9 month old son. He is so cute that I'm feeling the male equivalent of "broody". Who'd have thought it? I'm separated, in a new relationship, with 2 beautiful daughters and here I am wanting a baby in the house again!

    A worrying trend.

A British soldier was murdered in London the other day, in daylight, by a pair of fanatics. Yesterday I saw a report that a French soldier was stabbed in a similar incident. This is a worrying trend and I hope it's not a sign of something more disturbing!

    Overdoing the presents.

I've been separated from my wife for a while now, and regularly take my daughters out at the weekend. I find myself buying them more and more stuff, and my ex is complaining that I'm overdoing the presents to make myself look better to the kids. I don't think I am. Would you stop?

    My life has changed!

Since I was last here, my wife has left me and, after almost two years of sheer misery, I am at last picking up the pieces. I take the blame for what happened, but have accepted that you can't turn back time and I'm now moving on. I have a new girlfriend at least, and still spend time with my...

    Punishment

How good are you at punishing your children and how do you do it? My children are still very young so the naughty step usually does the trick!

Do you ever resent your kids?

This may seem a strange question but it was prompted by this article in my newspaper today and I can understand the logic. Children are transitory and they will leave someday but, hopefully, a husband and wife will always be together.

Big wrists in children signify risks

According to this article big wrists in a child can point to insulin resistance and therefore to heart danger. I find this hard to believe because children with big wrists are likely to be overweight anyway and this is what is unhealthy.

    Alcohol causes cancer-latest!

My newspaper today isn't very optimistic. This article tells us that even one pint a day can cause cancer! I'm glad I don't drink, although I don't believe everything I read in the news!

    Job takes me abroad

My job takes me abroad quite often and I feel sometimes that I'm missing great chunks of my daughters' childhoods, but what options do I have when this is all I have known since I was 16?

    Worried about moving

We are considering buying a house and moving away from this area but I'm a little worried that we may end up in a rougher area. How can I check before we decide where to go?

    Have you ever made sweets?

My wife made some toffee at the weekend. She told me that her mother used to make it regularly and I have to admit that it was delicious. Just sugar, butter, vinegar and a pinch of bicarbonate of soda to finish.

    Getting it from all sides!

It's usually very funny. Whenever my wife and I disagree, both my little daughters take her side and I get angry looks, angry remarks and fingers wagging at me, but lately even the dog takes notice of my wife and ignores me. I'm beginning to feel redundant!:(

    Honey

My five year old has just discovered honey and she has to have it on everything! She has some this morning on her breakfast cereal and wanted her mum to make honey sandwiches for her tea! Still, it's supposed to be healthy.

    Kids growing vegetables

Last year my wife made a remarkable vegetable garden and our daughters each had their own plot. They loved planting the seeds and growing their own tomatoes, peppers, peas etc. They liked even more picking and eating them. We plan to do the same this year.

    Stomach problems

The doctors are having trouble pin pointing what's wrong with me but I'm having various stomach troubles from excess wind to nausea. Any ideas? My wife tried me on gluten free bread and it seems to have improved things a little.

Is your nose cold and wet?

My little girl made me laugh this morning when she woke me up to tell me that she must be ill because her nose wasn't cold and wet like our dog! She had heard us talking about signs of a healthy dog.:D

    Too many games consoles?

Which ones do you have and do you think you have too many? I think we have more than the average family. We bought the kids a Nintendo DSI each and I have an XBox but my wife prefers the Wii so we have that as well as a PS3!

    Have you made a will?

This is an uncomfortable but necessary subject. Have you considered what would happen to your kids if you and your wife died in a car accident for instance? We discussed it recently and decided to specify my brother and his wife as guardians, with his agreement.

    Cycling to school

Would you let your eight year old son cycle 2 miles to school on his own? My brother in law does this but I can't see me being happy to let my daughter do so when she is eight.
