Yeah me! I got a raise today at work. I hate Mondays usually but this Monday was awesome. With the economy so poor I was really surprised. I got called in to the bosses office and I was scared. Then he told me that I was getting a raise and it started today!

One of my sons friends is in a tough situation. His mom just re-married and the new step-dad doesn't seem like he wants to step up and be a dad. The kid is ready to let him in and wants him to be a father figure but the husband is not there yet. I can't believe that his mom married this man!

I tell you having kids is expensive. If it's not one thing it's another. Right now it is school clothes, yearbooks, cheerleading outfits, dance shoes, etc. Then I get from my daughter, dad can I have some money to go to the movies with my friends? I said sure, can you help with the laundry...

I would say that my daughter is graduating tomorrow. She gets to drive the tractor that starts with the hand crank. She has driven all other tractors that we own. I told her that if she wanted to drive it she had to start it. Should be fun to watch!

Football is just around the corner for us. My boys both play football in town. I don't coach but I go watch all the practices and such. Do your kids get involved in town sports? It's great entertainment for us parents.
