I would join the club here. Sometimes the questions are hilarious and sometimes it is repetitive that it sure is annoying already. But this is the time that our patience is tried so let's try understand. Besides, there will come a time that we will these times when they have their own families...

My brother confided in me that he likes my sister-in-law. There is no problem with me as long as she takes good care of him. Do you know anyone who has a brother that married the sister of his/her spouse? Do you think this will go well with both families?

Talking is the best thing to do here. Try not to condemn the child for what he had done and try to understand his problems. Sometimes kids do radical things in order for us to notice them and so we would address their needs.

I think there is no problem with this if your wife do it not very often. Giving rewards for a good performance would improve self esteem of kids. I agree with you in some way though that kids need to perform their best with or without any rewards.

I guess I have moved on with cartoons. Don't get me wrong because I still like watching cartoons every now and then. I like TV shows that are not cartoons but sometimes I watch it when my kids are in turn to watch their favorite cartoons.

I find it so sad that sometimes divorce are made with slight disagreements. Anyone can apply for divorce as long as it is allowed by the state or government but what should be the legitimate causes for someone to file a divorce?

Pokerdad is right about teenagers. It is like this is the time when they only wanted to mingle with their friends. Before and after teenage years, siblings usually support each other at these times.

Kids can still play outside especially when there is snow on the ground. How about going for ice skates? I don't know how to skate on ice but it is sure awesome to be able to do it.

How many here clean their homes as a family? I thought about this just now because my wife mostly does the cleaning and my kids only play around. I think it will much faster to clean house as well as help my wife ease up her duties around the house if we do it as a family.

I think your kids mean that they are embarrassed of what you did. We have passed those years as well and when our parents do something icky then we would also think that they are embarrassing us although in the old days we don't speak out loud what we think.

That is a good explaining of that scripture. We want our kids to go to the right path so if they are going astray then we should use the rod to guide them. If they don't follow still then a little beating of the rod (or belt for kids) will help them go back to the path we want them to take.

Do you think it is a good idea to let your kids taste beer even when they are still very young? My father did this when I was little but it didn't deter me from drinking when I've grown already.
