Yes! I work in the mental health field, and sadly many parents have stopped correcting, raising, and focusing on their children, choosing instead to focus on themselves and let society "teach" their children. People have forgotten that parenting is a "job" and requires work, time, and effort...

I read that even though they are filing for bankruptcy protection, that the company will stay in business. I can't imagine them being broke however, based on all the cash I've thrown their way over the years! ;)

On thing that I've found is very popular right now are the Willow Tree figurines. They make them for all different occasions...we received one as a wedding gift that is very special to us, and I'm thinking about getting one for my wife after the baby arrives.

I have 3 from may first marriage, my wife has 2 from her first marriage. they range in age from 11 to 21, and we just learned that we're expecting in August. I'm trading the SUV in on a bus and painting it up like the Partridge Family's. ;)

As our baby on the way was a total surprise and all the other bedrooms are taken by the other kids, I'm losing my man-cave for the time being. It's paneling, and I'm trying to decide what to do with it. Our other kids are older and will be leaving the nest soon, so the new arrival can have one...

I go them all if work schedule allows, which it usually does as I'm right across from the medical offices. I feel it's my kid too so I wanna be there for whatever may come about. Also keeps me in mama's good graces. ;)
