I think taking kids out of school to do something fun is fine on occasion if they are getting good grades. I take the kids out to do activities every couple months and I don't see a problem with it. I would say no to the child who is struggling in school though. Good grades = more privileges.

I think it would be good if you got general colors. For example, don't get foundation because that seems personal and easy to get wrong. Instead, try eye shadow in colors like blue, purple, or gray.

I don't understand how the ex isn't allowed to see the kids if the split is mutual and everything is going okay. Is there a reason? I imagine that if they can't talk about it so that both parents can see their children then a lawyer is the only other way to make things right.

Those are both really fascinating stories. I can't imagine what it would be like to find out that you are a dad so much later. Most people have an idea of what parenthood will be like and I doubt many have that idea in mind.

I think it depends. If the lie is insignificant I will talk about the consequences of lying, give them another chance, and then tell them I know the truth. Sometimes even if I don't know the truth, I give the impression that I do. It's a sneaky trick but it works.
